Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions:

Q: I have had a bankruptcy in the past. Can I borrow?

A: If your bankruptcy has been discharged, then yes. We can't lend to someone who is in active bankruptcy.

Q: How big can my loan be?

A: The smaller of $1500 or 35% of your gross monthly income.

Q: What are you charging for interest right now?

A: A flat 15% of what you borrow, no matter how much.

Q: What happens if I don't pay back my loan?

A: We will charge you a $15 NSF fee. To avoid this, you should contact our office and arrange a four part payment plan, which we will offer once per year.

Q: I want another loan, to go with my existing loan.

A: No, we can't do that. If you're having financial problems you should consider speaking to a non-profit credit counselor.

Q: Do you offer loans in Canada?

A: Absolutely, we operate in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Nova Scotia.

Q: I'm an existing customer that wants a new loan

As long as you don't already have an outstanding loan with us, all you need to do is submit another screen capture from your online banking using the application you already have installed. If you uninstalled the application you'll need to complete the application form again but we will use your existing account.
